I am so blessed the Lord opened the. way for me to be here at Hillside Calvary Chapel. New to the Spokane area I came by this little church accidently. The Lord knew this is where I would hear good, sound Bibical teaching and the warm hand of fellowship. After attending twice I knew I was home.

The most disgusting church in the civilized world. They absolutely refuse to accommodate children with special needs. I have no use for churches that want to decide who should and who shouldn't attend their cult services. A lot of one star reviews. That should be a tip off for anyone looking to try this hole for the first time. Preacher seems to have narcissistic tendencies.

Hate within a sermon breeds a community of bigots. Be careful pastor. Jesus did not preach words of hate and judgement to the masses. And speculation about the origin of concepts you admit are unknown by biblical scholars do not make bullet points to prove your hate speech as biblical fact. I will pray for the hearts of the congregation to see past the hateful nature of your "jokes".

This is the church that knows how to preach the Gospel that is relevant to our days. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere there as well.

This church is awful. The preacher preaches nothing but politics. If you are a democrat you are clearly not welcome here. So hypocritical of a church to encourage so much hate towards another individual. I am disgusted, they should be ashamed of themselves.

I've been going here since August of last year, and I love it. Sure Pastor Ken says some things people might not agree with, but he does this not to discourage people, he's just trying to be funny. He sure is. He does a really good job at telling people that we're getting too attached to technology, and that the government is growing increasingly corrupt. I don't have to listen to him to know that, though. The evidence is all around us. You've just gotta look. In short, Calvary Spokane is inviting and friendly, with a lot of people who make you feel like part of a family, but it isn't your average everyday church. It's something special.

We had our granddaughter for 3 weeks. She wanted to go to Sunday school in a conservative church.our church didn't have Sunday school for her age group, so we looked on line and chose Calvary Spokane, our neighbor is a assistant Pastor there, so we went to the service and our granddaughter went to Sunday school. It was a good fit. The service is longer than any church we have attended. But was very nice, very casual dress. Lots of young families.. We will attend often.. unless you join a group you will not meet anyone. It's a huge church.2 service's. 9 and 11 :15.

My brothers memorial service was held at this church and it was a beautiful service until Pastor Joe, who was the final speaker, shared his “Good News”. It was anything but good news and was in fact a very personal attack on a specific group of Christians in the audience. It was a personal rant by Pastor Joe, filled with bitterness and hate that completely ruined the beautiful spirit that had existed up to that point. His message was anything but Christian, and I hope that future audiences do not have to be exposed to his intolerance and hate.
